As artists and fans alike are stuck in their homes during quarantine, many creatives are finding ways to still deliver fully-fledged performances from the comfort of their bedrooms. The latest artist to accomplish that goal: Troye Sivan.

On Monday (April 20), Sivan debuted a "live from home" version of his latest single, "Take Yourself Home." Sitting in his bedroom with a mic in hand, Sivan was joined by his band via video as they played through his new single. "I'm tired of the city, scream if you're with me/ If I'm gonna die, let's die somewhere pretty," Sivan and his backups sang.

As the video continued, with interspersed clips of Sivan and his bandmates appearing onscreen, the video began to slowly distort and twist, until eventually, the entire screen was filled with a rippling visual effect as Sivan's face became superimposed over the backdrop.

Just before the song launched into its tech house outro, Sivan took a moment to make sure fans know that all proceeds from his new line of fan-designed T-shirts would be donated to the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and Spotify’s COVID-19 Music Relief project. "Quick PSA: if you buy a 'Take Yourself Home' T-shirt, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to charity," he said. "Go and help artists in need — not me, like bands and crews — people in the entertainment industry, and families who need it."
