On last week's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, the queens of season 12 got the chance to strike a pose on the main stage in a Madonna-themed musical (or, as the show says, "Rusical") challenge. Singing, dancing and lip-syncing through every Madonna era, the queens brought the Material Girl to life, with Gigi Goode snatching her third challenge win of the season.

However, NYC superstar Brita and North Carolina personality Heidi N. Closet found themselves on the "Borderline" of elimination for their performances in the challenge. Fighting for their spot in the competition, the two performed to Madge's "Burning Up," dancing their way through to the last note. In the end, Heidi's performance earned her another week on the show, thus ending Brita's Drag Race journey.

Brita spoke to Billboard via email from her quarantine outside of New York, where she says she had to leave due to her own pre-existing conditions in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Three or four of my friends have passed away because of the virus," she says. "It is really important for everyone to do their part. I am doing a lot of self reflection and making new material and mixes and performance numbers, so when all of this is said and done I can help cheer people up."

For the New York performer, being eliminated was obviously not part of her plans for the Drag Race. But, if she could go back, she wouldn't change anything. "You know, I was so sad when I got eliminated because I felt like I really tried my best," she tells Billboard. "But I don’t regret anything."

Throughout her time on the show, Brita struggled with the challenges, repeatedly saying that she was confused about how and why she wasn't doing better. Upon reflection, the star says that she was constantly feeling internal strain constantly while on the show, and couldn't help but feel stressed in the work room. "I was stuck in my own head, and because I am such a perfectionist, I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to be the best," she says.

To celebrate her time on Drag Race, Brita curated a playlist for Billboard aimed at helping people find some joy in the dark times we're currently living in. "These songs are very important to me and they all make me feel so good," she says. "They all amp me up!"Check out Brita's full elimination playlist below, and get her thoughts on each of the songs.

Brainstorm, "Lovin' Is Really My Game"

This song will cheer me up at any moment any time. This song is EVERYTHING.

Aretha Franklin, "Can’t Turn You Loose"

I have never performed this song before, but I can’t wait to perform it when I am out. I know every single word to it and it is the No. 1 encore song to any show.

Lady Gaga, "Stupid Love"

This song makes me think about my beautiful boyfriend Doug, and how we will celebrate this stupid love when we get out of quarantine.

Antonique Smith, "Hold Up Wait a Minute (Woo Woo)"

This is one of my favorite songs to strut to.

Leikeli47, "Look"

The ultimate song to get ready to. Gets you in the mood for a wild night out.

The Emotions, "Best of My Love"

This song reminds me of PRIDE season and spreading all the love!
