It's only been a few months since Adam Lambert unveiled the highly anticipated "Side A" to his fourth studio album Velvet, but fans are already anxiously awaiting the full-length version. Today, the countdown can officially begin.

On Tuesday (Feb. 4), Lambert announced the release date of the full Velvet album, letting fans know that it would officially be available starting on March 20. And to celebrate the news, the star also shared his brand new single "Roses" featuring legendary guitarist Nile Rodgers.

On the new single, Lambert continues his groovy streak with '70s rock-inspired production and his soulful, sultry vocals, now assisted by Rodgers' disco-tinged guitar licks. Lambert sings to his lover, telling him that he's only irresistable if he's actually there. "And all that I got was roses/ Don't mean a thing without emotions," he croons.

The news comes on the heels of Lambert's latest touring announcement, where the star revealed that he would be performing a three night mini-residency at Las Vegas' Venetian Theatre this April in support of his new album. Tickets officially go on sale February 8.
