It might not be Halloween yet, but up-and-coming pop singer Chester Lockhart is here to help you prepare with their eerie new single.

On Wednesday (Sept. 18), Lockhart unveiled a new single and music video for "The Night", a glitching, bass-heavy anthem about finding yourself in the darker side of life. With queer producer extraordinnaire Robokid taking the production to a new level on the track, Lockhart's new single will sure to have your spine tingling.

As will the video -- directed and edited by Lockhart, with Dorian Electra and Weston Allen serving as producers, the video sees the singer crawling and dancing through an abandoned warehouse, all while donning some of their best genderfluid looks (crafted by German designer Fomme).

It's been a busy year for Lockhart — along with working on their own career, the star has been involved in multiple major projects, including Taylor Swift's VMA-winning "You Need To Calm Down" video, close friend Todrick Hall's "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels" video, and even a role in the Eva Longoria-directed CW pilot Glamorous.
