On her latest single “Glad He’s Gone,” Tove Lo holds nothing back when explaining exactly why her friend should be glad her dumpy ex-boyfriend is out of the picture. Last night, she made sure that the world got the same message.

On Wednesday (July 17), Lo appeared as the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform her new single. Her stage was covered from top to bottom in some artificial grass and leaves, while she sported a gold lamé trenchcoat to imitate the artwork for her song. The singer gleefully danced around the stage, celebrating the departure of her friend’s ex.

As her performance came to a close, Lo slowly lowered herself onto the grass-covered floor, singing the final lines of the track. While the audience applauded, Colbert himself got down on all fours to crawl over to her and send the show to a commercial break.
