On the latest episode of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, rock star Adam Lambert sat down with Andy Cohen, alongside R&B icon Chaka Khan, to discuss all the latest rumors and highlights of the singer’s career.

During the episode, Cohen asked if Lambert and Sam Smith were still friends after the Queen frontman accidentally posted video on his Instagram last August of Smith criticizing the late Michael Jackson and his music. “Yes, we still are friends. That was not that deep," he said, saying the clip was taken out of context. "But you know how the media is. They love a story that doesn't exist."

In the aftershow, Lambert was asked by a caller if he had seen Lady Gaga and Madonna interacting with one another after the Oscars, essentially ending their years-long feud. The star said that he had a “lovely” conversation with Gaga at the party but didn’t see the now-famous reconciliation. “I thought to myself, ‘Wait, Gaga’s at Madonna’s party,’” he said. “I didn’t see the interaction, but apparently it was OK!”

The star also spoke about nerve-racking performances, including the time he performed “Believe” in front of Cher herself at the Kennedy Center. “I remember when that song came out, I loved it,” he said. “It was an honor performing for her. I love Cher. She’s an icon.”
