In the year since R&B star Dizzy Fae released her critically acclaimed debut Free Form Mixtape, the singer has been plotting her next move. Now, the Minnesota-based star is showing her hand.

On Thursday (April 25), Fae released her brand-new song “Altar,” a soul-infused dance track on which the up-and-coming star lets her lover know exactly what she wants them to do to her. “So play with me, play with me/ Play with me harder/ Lay with me, lay with me/ Lay with me longer,” she groans.

The new track comes ahead of what Fae expects will be yet another whirlwind year. Along with preparing her upcoming project, which is due out later this year, the singer starred in Khalid’s short film Free Spirit, as a high schooler who takes a spontaneous road trip to deal with her anxiety about her future.
