RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner Trixie Mattel has dominated multiple forms of media. She became a television star with Drag Race and The Trixie & Katya Show and has surpassed all expectations in the music industry with the releases of her two albums, Two Birds and One Stone. Now, the drag superstar has her eye on the silver screen.

A documentary following the life of the star will see its world premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. After the film screens at the festival, Trixie herself will take the stage to offer the audience a personal performance of her work.

Titled Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts, the film follows the “Break Your Heart” singer as she tours the world following her win on All Stars 3. But the description teases that the film will delve into her struggles as a touring performer, saying, “The pressure of the title proves that heavy is the head that wears the tiara.”

Mattel won’t be the only Drag Race winner featured at the Tribeca Film Festival either: Fellow All Stars winner Alaska Thunderfuck will appear in the documentary Circus of Books, a film centered on a real-life family-run gay pornography shop in Los Angeles.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival will take place from April 24 to May 5 in New York City. Tickets go on sale March 26 and will be available at the festival’s website.
