Drag superstar Shangela surprised attendees of the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (Feb. 24) with a medley that shouted out to several of the ceremony’s honorees.

The A Star Is Born actor introduced the musical routine by declaring, “Here are the nominees for best original songs that aren’t actually even in these films.”

Throughout her number, the RuPaul’s Drag Race star gave nods to If Beale Street Could Talk, Leave No Trace, You Were Never Really Here and First Reformed while stars like Regina King, Barry Jenkins, Joaquin Phoenix and Amanda Seyfried bopped along.

Eighth Grade writer and director Bo Burnham was especially tickled when the drag queen gave his film some love, eating a chicken nugget while singing, “If you want more sauce, baby, you can have mine.”

Shangela ended her performance with a shablam, but dropped too quickly for the camera to catch it. Check out the medley below.
