Hayley Kiyoko's 'Girls Like Girls' Video Reaches 100 Million YouTube Views

Hayley Kiyoko’s dramatic, heartwarming video for “Girls Like Girls” has just reached 100 million views on YouTube.

The video was originally uploaded on June 24, 2015, and was directed by Kiyoko herself, alongside Austin S Winchell.

The singer took to Twitter to express her excitement about her latest milestone, writing, "I can't believe we hit a 100 million views. On a video made from incredible favors from my cast and crew."

The music video tells the story of two girls who are good friends, but one of the girls (Stefanie Scott) begins to develop feelings for the other (Kelsey Chow). The only problem is that Chow is presumably in a relationship with another boy, and the Scott is left feeling conflicted.

As the story unfolds, Kiyoko manages to capture the feelings of confusion and young love with each small interaction the two girls have. After a tense physical fight between Scott, and Chow’s boyfriend, the two girls kiss, mutually expressing the deep romantic feelings they have for each other.
