Tove Lo - Blue Lips (Short Film)

Tove Lo has mastered the art of the lonely, escapist music video -- which she first showcased with the first-person POV video for “Habits (Stay High)” way back in 2014.

Since then, the Swedish superstar has continued the art of making cinematic short films that tie in closely to her albums. Today (Oct. 19), Tove Lo premiered the short film Blue Lips, which accompanies her latest album of the same name.

Directed by Lo herself and Malia James, who’s directed videos for Halsey and Troye Sivan in the past, the film captures two best friends (played by Lo and Ana Coto) looking to spend a hedonistic, club- and drug-filled girls’ weekend away from a crummy one-night fling.
