Only months after bowing out of American Idol's 16th season and committing to a rigorous, months-long nationwide tour, Ada Vox has finally unveiled her triumphant debut single “Because of You."

After 13 auditions, Vox spurred on a small revolution in mainstream America as as the first-ever drag queen to sashay her way into American Idol’s Top 10. With “Because of You,” a celebratory, dance-pop number produced by British trio Bimbo Jones, the San Antonio diva heel-turns away from the torch songs that catapulted her into the public eye.

Vox holds her own as a house diva. Her pipes tower over the song’s mighty, four-on-the-floor thump, adding a wallop of joy and regret to the celebration around her. "I just don't know who I would be/ if you weren't there next to me," she belts, her sad nostalgia turning into uplift by the song's end.

Ada Vox continues her nationwide tour through Nov. 16, making stops at Pride Festivals in Atlanta, Honolulu, Las Vegas and Jacksonville.
