Blair St. Clair Releases Video For Dave Audé-Assisted Remix of 'Call My Life': Watch

Since her stint on Drag Race, Blair St. Clair has captured the attention of the club scene. Though she was branded a Broadway baby during her time on the show, the drag queen crashed the Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart (dated July 14) at No. 1 with her debut album Call My Life.

"I initially fell in love with how Broadway tells a story and evokes emotion," St. Clair told Billboard. "I use those tools in my music today. I want my fans to relate to my music and I want the theatricality and story telling to come alive when I perform my music."

Her first single, “Now or Never,” peaked at No. 18 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, while its successor, album title track “Call My Life” is climbing Dance Club Songs, reaching a new peak of No. 33 on this week’s chart (dated Aug. 25).

St. Clair said that the song’s title was inspired by different elements in her life that helped her find and own her inner voice. “Now I’m using that voice a little more literally. The song 'Call My Life' is a metaphor for the busy, worldly lives we lead versus the simple moments we forget. I’m trying to call attention that sometimes the most glamorous life of all isn’t outwardly driven but comes from living a happy life.”

As the track gained traction, St. Clair dropped Call My Life: Remixed, a collection of reimaginations from the likes of Dave Audé, Chris Cox, DrewG., Ralphi Rosario and Hector Fonseca & Zambianco. Now, the singer has released a video to accompany the Audé mix.

“He’s amazing,” St. Clair said of the Grammy-winning producer. “I trust him and his incredible ability to rework music.”
