Following the outsize success of her farewell stand-up special Nanette, Hannah Gadsby has a memoir waiting in the wings.

Vulture notes that the Australian comic’s debut book, titled Ten Steps to Nanette, will be released sometime in 2019 in her native Australia via publisher Allen & Unwin. Random House imprint Ballantine purchased publishing rights, though there is no official date for its release outside Australia.

The original publication date for Ten Steps was slated for June this year but was pushed back. The reason for the delay is unconfirmed, though a Vanity Fair feature cites the "emotional demands" of touring Nanette as the cause.

“Hannah Gadsby always dreamt of being a cool kid but she had to accept that, just like her childhood dream of being a dog, 'normal' isn’t always possible,” reads the publisher’s original release for the memoir.

Gadsby’s Nanette tour concluded at the end of July, though, she confirmed in a Tonight Show interview that she may postpone her retirement plans.
