Another tidal wave of kindness has surged ahead of Kehlani’s hometown benefit show for her ailing niece. The “Distraction” singer revealed last night (Aug. 12) that Solange has donated 50 tickets to raffle off for fans in the area.

Solange's act of kindness follows a wealth of goodwill from Kehlani’s fanbase, who purchased tickets for fans after she announced the benefit concert last Monday (Aug. 6). Another anonymous benefactor — who the Oakland singer noted as “one of my musical heroes” in a tweet — announced plans to donate 100 tickets for the event. Proceeds will go toward an ongoing medical fund for Nova, her niece.

The benefit, called Tsunovi Gang, is set to take place tonight (Aug. 13) at the UC Theatre in Berkeley. Rexx Life Raj, Daghe, 1-O.A.K., and Jean Deaux are on the lineup for the event, with a still-unannounced special guest in the wings. Tickets are sold out, but Kehlani shared information about how to enter the raffle in the announcement.
