RuPaul arrives at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 17, 2017 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Having RuPaul approve of your new music video and post it on social media is one way of starting a Monday on the right note. The LGBTQ icon and Drag Race host used his platform Monday morning (August 6) to show his approval of Christine and the Queens' new "Girlfriend" music video.

The video, released in May, features impressive rooftop choreography with sunset views. Christine and the Queens is the stage name of French singer Héloïse Letissier, a fellow LGBTQ icon and activist.

Christine responded quickly to the Twitter praise, saying to RuPaul that she feels "anointed by this tweet." Fans got excited by the interaction, with one Twitter user saying, "You know you've made it when RuPaul is bumpin ur shit."

Christine and the Queens is set to release her second studio album Chris this fall. The ever-busy RuPaul just had RuPaul's Drag Race renewed by VH1 for an 11th season.
