Demi Lovato arrives at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on April 2, 2016 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Demi Lovato started an online fundraiser for GLAAD via Facebook on Tuesday (June 26) to celebrate Pride and raise money in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Setting her goal at $5,000, the singer exceeded it within just a couple hours with $7,500 raised and growing.

GLAAD is a non-governmental media group that amplifies queer voices and holds the media accountable for how they tell the stories of LGBTQ+ people with the help of grassroots organizations. Lovato was honored at the Annual GLAAD Media Awards in 2016 and has been a longtime supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.

“Join me in supporting a good cause,” she wrote. “I'm raising money for GLAAD and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps.”
