She may not have made it to the top 4, but RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Blair St. Clair has charted higher than any of her Season 10 sisters with the club-ready “Now or Never,” which peaked at No. 18 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart.
The video for the track counted over 1.7 million views since its late April premiere, and now the Indiana-born queen is following it up with another electronic track, “Call My Life.”
St. Clair reveals that the song’s title was inspired by different elements in her life that helped her find and own her inner voice. “Now I’m using that voice a little more literally. The song 'Call My Life' is a metaphor for the busy, worldly lives we lead versus the simple moments we forget," she says in a statement. "I’m trying to call attention that sometimes the most glamorous life of all isn’t outwardly driven but comes from living a happy life.”
