Top 5 Music Moments From 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 10

Christina Aguilera on RuPaul's Drag Race

As we gear up for what’s bound to be a reactive reunion of Drag Race's 10th season, we've reflected on the unprecedented highlights from this novel class of queens.

From some absolutely sickening runways (Monique Heart’s criminally underrated deck-of-cards look, Aquaria’s Last Ball on Earth trio) to some ridiculously hilarious comedy performances (Asia O’Hara’s butterface, Eureka’s big-baby temper tantrum) to some of the most critically important dialogue the show has ever aired (The Vixen).

All in all, season 10 has certainly amped up the competition, and that includes the marvelous music moments. Here are our top five:

Christina Aguilera stomped the runway

RuPaul made fans do a double take when he invited Christina Aguilera look-alike Farrah Moan to the stage -- only to reveal that it was in fact the music icon. Xtina guest judged the first episode’s maxi challenge, but not before delivering one of her famous riffs. Before watching the bottom two lip sync for their life to her song “Ain’t No Other Man,” the singer even went backstage to share a sweet moment with the girls in Untucked.

Mayhem lip synced for her entire life

In the history of peculiar lip sync song selections, “Celebrity Skin” by Hole is definitely up there somewhere, but that didn’t stop Mayhem Miller from turning out one of the most impassioned performances this season. Ripping feathers off her dress and glaring at the judges with her menacing colored contacts, Mayhem proved why she garnered such hype going into the season.

Katharine McPhee tweeted Blair St. Clair

As each queen sashays away, it's a rite of passage to leave a lipstick message on the Werk Room mirror. When Broadway queen Blair St. Clair exited, she wrote, "Let me be your star," referencing theater-centric TV show Smash. The show's star Katharine McPhee must be a Drag Race fangirl, as she took to Twitter to show Blair some love: “You ARE a star."

Cher got the musical treatment

With each queen challenged to imitate a different decade of Cher, perform choreography, and sing live, Cher: The Unauthorized Rusical seemed bound for disaster. Instead, the queens delivered some incredible performances -- especially Monet X Change, Eureka O'Hara and, of course, Kameron Michaels, who snagged her first win of the season.

Aquaria, Asia O'Hara, Eureka O'Hara & Kameron Michaels got patriotic

The top four queens wrote, recorded and performed their own solo verses to RuPaul’s “American,” with Todrick teaching the girls what he called some of the most ambitious choreography in the show’s history. In Ru’s season-long effort to “take over the mothertucking world,” the queens got inspirational in a stellar performance.

The reunion episode of RuPaul's Drag Race season 10 airs Thursday, June 21 at 8/7c on VH1. The season finale airs the following Thursday, June 28.
