When Alyssa Edwards referred to Alaska Thunderfuck, Katya Zamolodchikova and her fellow RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2 queens as “beasts,” she likely didn’t know that ultimately she would be telling the truth.

Alaska and Katya are set to be featured in the upcoming horror film The Quiet Room. Alaska will be playing the role of Hattie, a demon living in a psych ward, torturing and killing the patients who cross her. Katya, meanwhile, will be out of drag and playing a seemingly sadistic nurse named David.

“Hi! I’m a scary monster in The Quiet Room,” Alaska wrote on Twitter. “And [Katya] plays a man nurse.” Katya took to Twitter as well, writing “Check out The Quiet Room’s theatrical trailer for a first look of me as nurse David! Keep an eye out for [Alaska] haunting the hospital halls.”

The film, directed by Thirsty’s Sam Wineman, follows Michael, a patient at a mental institution whose attempted suicide awakens the malevolent spirit of Hattie. Michael is forced into a situation where he must figure out how to defeat the demon before she murders the hospital’s patients.

The Quiet Room has no set release date, but is currently making its rounds of the festival circuit, including Outfest, the heralded queer film festival taking place from July 12-22. Watch the full trailer for The Quiet Room below:
