Kehlani identifies as queer, and she's taken to Twitter to clarify what that means. The "Honey" singer, who joined Cardi B's set at Coachella last weekend and earlier this month wrapped her tour with Demi Lovato by grabbing her face for an onstage kiss, opted to clarify her sexuality to those who were curious Sunday (April 22).

"cuz i keep geddin asked.. i’m queer," she began in a series of tweets, seen below. "not bi, not straight. i’m attracted to women, men, REALLY attracted to queer men, non binary people, intersex people, trans people. lil poly pansexual papi hello good morning. does that answer your questions?"

In a subsequent tweet, Kehlani noted, "and since we on that... i’m the LEAST attracted to straight men, y’all really adorable sometimes tho. bisexual men really are little gifts from god tho."

And when asked why she chooses to use the word "queer" rather than "gay," Kehlani explained, "i felt gay always insisted there was still a line drawn as to which 'label' of human i was attracted when i really jus be walking around thinking ERRYBODY FINE."

Kehlani's "Honey," an acoustic love song to another woman -- "All the pretty girls in this world/ But I'm in this space with you" -- allowed the R&B vocalist to "be myself fluidly in my music and not just in my life," she said in an interview with MTV in late 2017. She added, "It’s only right that that’s what I make music about and that I’m able to put that out confidently.”

More recently, she dropped the new song "Again" and had a feature on Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy track "Ring." Her candid tweets come just a couple days after returning to Twitter after a hiatus.
