Social media star Bretman Rock -- named one of Time magazine’s most influential teens in 2017 -- has teamed up with influencer-powered music label Heard Well to curate a reggae-leaning compilation. Titled Chill Vibes, the compilation highlights under-the-radar acts like Hollie Cook, Colour Vision and Bazil.

“I'm an island girl!” said Rock. “I had to bring the islands to everyone's ears. I live in Hawaii and reggae style tracks give beach, calm vibes.”

The beauty vlogger also explained his process for curating his selections: “They all vibe well together and complement each other. That was most important to me as a smooth album run through will have you listen to the whole thing versus specific songs.”

Heard Well's director of music licensing, Miguel Angel Jimenez, was excited about Chill Vibes' island flavor: "We're extra excited for this project since it's the first time we've done anything in the genre and it came together so well. Bretman's taste is unparalleled."
