For Gay Pride Month, Billboard asked numerous pop culture luminaries to write 'love letters' to the LGBTQ community. Below, dance/house singer Thea Austin shares hers. Read more Pride Month love letters here.

It is an honor to express my thanks and love for our LGBTQ Pride Festivals. It has been and is a joyful and educational experience for me, as I am one with you in standing together against all forms of discrimination. My experiences with the LGBTQ Pride Festivals are so much fun, but are also a source of expanded awareness and activism in matters of the heart, such as civil and human rights.

I'm inspired by the diligent works and talents of the people involved in these festivals. I am humble and grateful to be accepted and supported by the LGBTQ family, as I am heterosexual and have never been discriminated against in these communities. I've been told by thousands at the LGBTQ Festivals how my songs "Rhythm Is A Dancer" and "I'm Addicted, The Worse Thing For Me" changed their lives from suicidal tendencies to high times dancing away the blues. That is the best!

When I've seen some of my favorite drag queens perform these songs, especially "I'm Addicted...," I am floored. They go all out and inspire me! The love and ideas shared are valuable and cherished. Thank you for your support. You have always had my support and will always have my love. Shining vibrant energy your way.
