O'Rourke thanks the superstar for her endorsement.

Beyoncé took to Instagram to share photos of herself rocking a black-and-white "Beto for Senate" hat on Tuesday (Nov. 6), breaking her silence on the contentious U.S. Senate race in her native Texas.

"I’m feeling grateful for everyone before me who fought so hard to give us all the right to have a voice," she wrote in one caption. "We can’t voice our frustrations and complain about what’s wrong without voting and exercising our power to make it right. We need you. We all need each other, because when we are truly united we are unstoppable. Sending you all love and positivity on this happy voting day! Every vote counts, Every race matters, Everywhere."

In the photos, Bey wore a matching two-piece black sweatsuit showing off her shiny red nails as she held the cap on her head. Democratic candidate Beto O'Rourke is running against incumbent Republican Senator Ted Cruz and has raised more money than any Senate candidate in U.S. history. While Beyoncé has stayed quiet leading up to Tuesday's midterm elections, she has gotten involved in politics in the past, playing a concert for Hillary Clinton ahead of the 2016 presidential election and performing at both of President Obama's inauguration events.
