U.S. Representative Beto O'Rourke has released a last-minute campaign ad urging Texas residents to vote, just one day before the U.S. midterm elections. The ad uses footage from the Turn Out for Texas Rally, where country legend Willie Nelson boldly affirmed his support for O'Rourke.

At the free event, which took place Sept. 29, Nelson and other music acts performed to a crowd sprinkled with voter registrars. Nelson invited O'Rourke to the stage for a joint performance of Nelson's song "On the Road Again," referencing O'Rourke's intensive Senate campaign.

"There is something special happening in Texas right now," O’Rourke can be heard saying in the 30-second ad. "In really small towns, in really big cities, people are getting off the sidelines and into the game. We are meeting the divisiveness that dominates our politics today with a courage, a strength, a big heart that could only come from Texas."

Over the past 20 months, O'Rourke has driven to all 254 counties in the state of Texas. A Democrat, O'Rourke is challenging the incumbent senator Ted Cruz, who has held the junior Senate seat for Texas since 2013.

The race is expected to be close. Watch the "On The Road Again" ad below.
