Voters cast their ballots at voting booths.

November 6 is Election Day -- and the stakes couldn't be higher.

As part of an effort coordinated by a small group of industry participants, Billboard is advocating for the music industry -- including some of the biggest artists on the planet -- to encourage that everyone vote on November 6. Over the next two weeks, Billboard will be rolling out content across its digital platforms about the election and the power of voting.

Are you a music fan who wants to get in on the action? It’s simple: Create a social post, including an Instagram story or video, with the hashtag #UseYourVoice. We are hoping you can post by November 5 -- if not earlier. (After all, 40 percent of the electorate will cast a ballot before Election Day.)

We believe that the more people who participate in our democracy, the stronger our country will be. Music has real power -- let’s use that power to let more voices be heard.
