Taylor Swift’s recent political Instagram post has received an enormous amount of attention, igniting a firestorm in the political media and earning the singer both praise and backlash from fans and political leaders alike.
But no other Taylor Swift fan appears to be quite as affected by the 28-year-old’s post endorsing Tennessee Democrats Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper for the midterm elections than longtime fan President Donald Trump.

A few months later in October, Trump congratulated Swift on being picked to co-host the Grammy nominations special. “Glad to hear that @taylorswift13 will be co-hosting the Grammy nominations special on 12.5,” Trump tweeted. “Taylor is terrific!”

In a newly resurfaced video that first lady Melania Trump posted on Facebook in 2014, Trump can be seen driving his car listening to Swift’s hit song “Blank Space.”

After being questioned by reporters on the White House South Lawn on Monday, Trump responded to Swift’s political post by saying, “Let’s just say I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now, OK?”
