The election season is finally drawing closer to its end, with less than a month left before decision time on November 8. On Sunday night (Oct. 9), millions of viewers tuned into the second presidential debate between Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Though many Americans focused on the candidates' responses during the town-hall-style Q&A, the Internet waited anxiously for the night's mostly perfectly meme-able moments, flooding Twitter feeds with funny captions and re-purposed photos from the event.

The world meets Ken Bone

Internet stardom is pretty easily attainable, as recently learned by Ken Bone -- the man who stole the spotlight when he stepped to the mic during the town hall debate to ask: "What steps will your energy policy take to meet our energy needs while at the same time remaining environmentally friendly and minimizing job layoffs?" The Internet immediately turned Bone, clad in a bright red sweater, into the newest Twitter sensation. Here rapper Hoodie Allen remixes Young Thug and Travis Scott single "Pick Up The Phone" to squeeze Ken Bone's unique name into the lyrics.

Donald Trump humps a chair

Donald Trump sure knows how to get the people talking, and last night, the Republican candidate's antics lit up social media as one user placed Ginuwine's grinding '90s classic "Pony" behind the video of Trump rocking his chair.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump's Duet

Imagine if Clinton and Trump were actually really good friends who regularly met up for Karaoke Night. An image surfaced of both of the presidential candidates holding their microphones in American Idol position, thus starting the "debate karaoke" memes. Ken Bone Gets His Own Rap Group

The man of the night remained trending, as one user gave Cleveland hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony a name-flip suitable for their newest prospective member.

Papa Doc took a loss in the 2002 film after Eminem freestyled clever puns and disses, and sealed the deal with a mic-drop. As the election quickly approaches, who will really walk away with the title?
