Welcome back to Takeover Tuesday, where each week Billboard taps charting artists and mega taste-makers to compile their very own playlist exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. We give the artists free reign to base the list on whatever subject they want and add whatever tracks they choose. The only rule? Make it as creative and unique to them as possible.

Over a decade removed from his 2004 double-platinum breakout album Take It All Away, Ryan Cabrera released his Wake Up Beautiful EP, a project that took more than eight years to complete and involved a variety of writers and producers, from Taylor Swift's Nathan Chapman to Mariah Carey's Justin Gray.

Now, Cabrera is hitting fans with a full summer of tunes as he heads into a nostalgia-fueled tour alongside 98 Degrees, Dream and O-Town. The My2K Tour will kick off July 8 in Kansas and wrap up in California on August 28, and for this week’s Takeover Tuesday, Cabrera prepares us a summer of throwbacks with his favorite songs from the 2000s. Check them out below!

1. Ryan Cabrera -- "On the Way Down": Well, I have to throw on the first song I ever put out in 2004...This was a really important song to me about finding what you believe in, and helping you through tough times! And believing in yourself, even when the world makes it hard to do so.

2. Coldplay -- "Clocks": Still one of my favorite piano riffs I've ever heard...Chris Martin is a genius at making complex smart tunes and making 'em sound simple -- he's a master of beautiful melody over unique fun riffs!

3. Justin Timberlake -- "Sexyback": This was a tune that really stood out and tested the waters...combination of acoustic jam meets rhythmic production, there was nothing else like it.

4. White Stripes -- "Seven Nation Army"

5. Maroon 5 -- "Harder to Breathe": Heard this song for the first time on the Carson Daly show and immediately tried to purchase Songs About Jane the next day, but it wasn't out yet! I went and told everyone I knew there was a new band called Maroon 5 coming out and that they were gonna be huge! I think It's safe to say I was right about that one!!

6. Red Hot Chili Peppers -- "Californication": The Peppers have proven they can write classics in any dang decade they want!! Just when we thought it couldn't be done, they pumped out this epic tune!! The combination of every genre really appeals to my soul.

7. John Mayer -- "Your Body Is a Wonderland": As a singer/songwriter, I can appreciate the ballads that appreciate the charisma of a woman! Haha, he was saying what we were all thinking.

8. *NSYNC -- "Bye Bye Bye": I dare any human to listen to this jam and not break out in the dance!! I DARE YOU!!

9. Norah Jones -- "Don't Know Why": I love chillin' out at home and relaxing to Norah. It is an immediate vibe that puts you in such a good chill mood!! Very Sexy time!!!

10. The Killers -- "Mr. Brightside": Brandon Flowers is such an epic entertainer and his voice and presence is irreplaceable!! Still one of my favorite live shows I've seen.

11. Yellowcard -- "Ocean Avenue": I remember going to Tower Records every Tuesday to find new music, and the first time I heard this record, I immediately fell in love with it. The energy the violin added was something new and fresh!!

12. We the Kings -- "Check Yes, Juliet"

13. Plain White T's -- "Hey There Delilah"
