Lady Gaga attends the 91st Annual Academy Awards at Hollywood and Highland on Feb. 24, 2019 in Hollywood, Calif.

Diamond's are a girl's best friend, and Lady Gaga walked the red carpet at the 91st Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 24) with her neck dripping with precious gems.

The triple-threat has been embracing elegant, classic style or a variation on Hollywood glam throughout the 2019 awards season. Her ensemble for the Oscars was no exception: she went for simple and stunning in a black strapless Alexander McQueen gown, and completed the look with elbow-length gloves and Tiffany diamonds on her neck and earlobes.

Before she made her way inside, Gaga stopped to chat with E!'s Giuliana Rancic about her outfit and A Star Is Born, which is nominated for eight awards. She's nominated for two herself -- for best actress, and for "Shallow" in the best original song category -- and she shared that her first phone call post-win would go to two beloved family members should she be dubbed 2019's best actress tonight.

"I'd have to call both my grandmas at the same time!" she said, laughing. "It'd be a conference call."

Gaga will perform "Shallow" -- which is nominated for best original song -- with her A Star Is Born co-star and director Bradley Cooper during the ceremony, which begins at 8 p.m. E.T. on ABC.
