It's an Oscar dream come true for Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The Hamilton creator, whose been watching the Academy Awards since he was a kid, performed at the 89th annual ceremony -- where he is also nominated for best song.

Miranda took the stage to perform a new opening rap to "How Far I'll Go" from Disney's Moana. The film's star Auli'i Cravalho sang the rest of the tune.
