Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame Official Trailer

The superhero epic is set to hit theaters nationwide on April 26.

Whatever it takes. Marvel Studios unveiled the first official trailer for Avengers: Endgame on Thursday (March 14).

The ominous clip features the titular squad of superheroes, led by Robert Downey, Jr.’s Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America, in the aftermath of 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War where (spoiler alert!) Josh Brolin’s titanic supervillain Thanos erased half of Earth’s population with a snap of his fingers.

As they grapple with flashbacks of the past and memories of their fallen comrades like Elisabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Anthony Mackie’s Falcon, the remaining heroes reunite to save the world one more time, complete with brand-new coordinated Avengers suits.

The upcoming blockbuster also stars Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd and Brie Larson, who will reprise her role as Captain Marvel after the record-breaking debut of last week's film of the same name, which landed the second-best opening of all time for a comic book adaptation starring a new character (behind 2018's Black Panther).
