Will Smith is happy to give eager fans a glimpse of the filming of the long-awaited third installment in the Bad Boys movie franchise. But he's just going to make you work for it a little bit. The action star posted a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the table read for Bad Boys For Life over the weekend, including shots of him and co-star Martin Lawrence reading the script, only he edited out any potential spoilers by pixelating everyone's faces and most of the words.

We don't really learn anything, except that after 15 years of patience, fans can probably expect more of the same. What did we learn? Someone mentions the Batmobile and Smith gets to say "Bad Boys" at some point.

The third installment is slated to arrive in theaters in January 17, 2020, with direction from Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. Not much has been revealed yet about the plot or cast -- which, as seen in the first two films, follows the intense crime-fighting lives of Detective Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Det. Marcus Burnett (Lawrence). So far, Joe Pantoliano will reportedly return as their jumpy chief and new additions to the cast include Vanessa Hudgens and Charles Melton, among others.
