Lady Gaga's big screen debut is finally here, and she and Bradley Cooper -- her director and co-star -- strolled down the red carpet holding hands at the premiere of A Star is Born.

At the Venice Film Festival, Gaga wore a stunning pink, maribou-covered Valentino gown to the premiere of the film (which was well-received in spite of a brief technical malfunction during the screening), and she and Cooper opted to attend the event as each other's +1.

Gaga spoke at length about her friendship and working relationship with Cooper in Venice, praising him for bringing out her "vulnerability" for the update on the musical classic.

“He's such an amazing singer -- he sings from his gut, from the nectar, from his soul,” Gaga gushed at the press conference before the premiere. "What I loved so much about working with Bradley is we had a true exchange. He accepted me as an actress, and I accepted him as a musician."
