'A Star Is Born' Soundtrack Announced: See the Track List and Release Date

The official soundtrack for the upcoming motion picture A Star Is Born, starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, was announced on Thursday (Aug. 30). The album is also now available for pre-order here.

The album, which will be released the same day the film opens on Oct. 5, will feature nineteen song in a variety of styles and fifteen dialogue tracks featuring specific moments and plot points from the film, mimicking the experience of seeing the movie in a purely auditory way.

A Star Is Born follows the musical and romantic journey of the movie's two main characters Jackson Maine, played by Cooper, and Ally, played by Gaga.

The soundtrack also includes the two songs that were featured in the film's trailer, "Shallow" and "Maybe It's Time."
