Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is hitting the big screen, along with an exciting new soundtrack that will be released on June 2, featuring artists that range from Weird Al Yankovic to Andy Grammer.

The popular children’s book series written by Dav Pilkey was adapted into a DreamWorks animated movie. Starring Kevin Hart and Ed Helms, the film tells a story of two mischievous kids with an ample imagination who hypnotize their mean school principal into the beloved superhero they created in their comic books -- taking them on one adventure after another.

The 11-track album pumps up the fun with features from Cold War KidsNathan Willett, Adam Lambert, Lil Yachty and Theodore Shapiro. The original songs ‘Captain Underpants Theme Song” by 'Weird Al' Yankovic and “A Friend In You” by Grammer are also included in the set, written and recorded exclusively for the film.

Adam Anders, who worked as the film's executive song producer as well as the soundtrack album producer, collaborated with Peer Astrom, who produced the overall soundtrack.
