Gabby Barrett tapped Charlie Puth for a remix of her vengeful hit "I Hope," which became her first Billboard Hot 100 top 10 song this week (chart dated Oct. 3), peaking at No. 10 (so far).

The country singer wishes her ex-boyfriend well with another woman until her "hope" involves karma coming back to bite him and his cheating antics. But the pop star offers the male perspective on the new edition of the song, one that wishes Barrett and her ex make up for a not-so-happily ever after.

"This song is A+ songwriting and I just had to be apart of it. Thank you so much for having me on it Gabby," Puth tweeted on April 16, one day before the remix dropped. Her original "I Hope" version came out on July 29, 2019.
