Adam Levine debuted a new Lord of the Rings-inspired hairdo on Tuesday. The Maroon 5 frontman bleached his hair a "Gandalf white-ish silver," showing off the final product on his Instagram Stories. His use of a no-sleep filter made him look not like a wizard, but a different mythical figure straight out of Twilight. "Vampires," he captioned one of the selfies he posted.

In a short clip he posted later, Levine tried on a third character by putting on his best pirate impression that could've fit in Pirates of the Caribbean. "Top of the morning to ya. Ready to face another day. Argh!" he said in an Irish accent.

The former Voice coach previously dyed his hair blonde and debuted the look on Twitter in May 2014 when he posted a mirror selfie with his then-fiancée and now-wife Behati Prinsloo.

A blonde Levine, with his brunette scruffy beard, told Jimmy Kimmel in January 2018 that Prinsloo "loves it when I do it. I ran it by her, because I want her to want to…," he paused before humorously looking at the audience. "So of course, but why would you do anything that would put you in a less than advantageous position when it came to the person that you want to want to sleep with you? You want that from them."
