Welcome to #TBT Mixtape, Billboard's series that showcases artists' very own throwback-themed playlists exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. The curated set features the artists' favorite tracks from their youth and childhood.

This week's spin comes from Russell Dickerson. The country singer is currently in the midst of a mainstream breakthrough following the release of his 2017 LP Yours, whose title track hit No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart earlier this year, and has netted over 115 million streams on Spotify to date.

Dickerson's passionate croon and catchy songs earned him a best new artist nomination at the ACM Awards in April as well as an opener spot on the Summer Plays On Tour with Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker. But the 31-year-old is already proving to be more than a one-hit wonder, as his latest single "Blue Tacoma" is sitting pretty at No. 16 on Country Airplay.

Today, the Tennessee native is throwing it back for this week's #TBT Mixtape, featuring Brooks & Dunn, Boyz II Men, Taylor Swift and more -- revealing that even those who grow up near Nashville don't just love country music.

"I moved to Nashville when I was 10 and began exploring different genres," he says. "My throwback playlist has all kinds of different influences. With Nashville being deemed 'Music City' my musical background was built on a little bit of everything -- from Usher to Alan Jackson!"

Give the eclectic set a spin and also check out some retro snaps of Dickerson below.
