Fashion search engine and online retail shopping tool Lyst has released its "Year in Fashion" report for 2017. The platform, which had over 80 million users in the last 12 months, tracked over 100 million searches to compile data into the annual detailed statement recapping major trends that made an impact in the fashion world over the last year.

“To name and rank the most influential celebrities in fashion, we monitored the spikes in demand created by 50 global superstars during the course of 2017, by looking at search and sales response to some of their most talked-about outfits,” the report reads. According to the list, the most powerful celebrity influencer of the year is none other than Rihanna (no surprise here). The Bajan star reportedly sent searches soaring for favorite brands Puma, Off-White, Molly Goddard, Gucci and Raen. Her Fenty Puma Bow sneakers were also the most wanted kicks of 2017.

Following on Rih’s heels is Selena Gomez, whose Instagram following of over 120 million was an asset to any brand she wore -- namely, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Sandy Liang and Rouje. Bella Hadid rounds out the top three, as her cool and casual looks never seemed to go unnoticed. Denim labels RE/DONE, Schnaider, GRLFRND and Ksenia all benefited from the model’s stylish picks.

A$AP Rocky’s bold, vintage vibes contributed to major spikes in Balenciaga, Calvin Klein and Gucci looks, which all sold out in seconds after being worn by the Fashion Killa. Harry Styles’ fashion statements help him take the eighth spot, after wearing floral Gucci suits and shirts throughout his tour and public appearances over the past several months.

Twenty-year-old Kylie Jenner is the youngest to make the list, while Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton also make appearances for the year. Check out the entirety of the report including celebrities, trends, colors and Instagram-hits on Lyst.
