Welcome to #TBT Mixtape, Billboard's new series showcasing artists' very own throwback-themed playlists, exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. The curated set features the artists' favorite tracks from their youth and childhood.

This week's spin comes from Phoebe Ryan. The indie pop star has been on a steady rise ever since her debut back in 2015, when her mash-up cover of R. Kelly's "Ignition" and Miguel's "Do You" -- which Billboard first premiered -- went viral. The track has now amassed over 30 million Spotify streams to date, and preceded her debut EP, Mine, which has earned praise from the likes of Taylor Swift, Tove Lo and Chloe Grace Moretz.

An alum of NYU's Clive Davis School of Recorded Music, Phoebe has been drafted for her songwriting prowess as well, writing songs for other artists including Bea Miller, Melanie Martinez, and most recently Britney Spears (“Man on the Moon” off her most recent LP, Glory). She also just dropped a one-two punch of new singles: "Forgetting All About You" featuring Blackbear and "Be Real."

Ahead of her upcoming fall tour, which kicks off in October, and her sophomore EP, Phoebe looks back with this week's #TBT Mixtape, exclusively via Billboard.

"These are all songs that I heard and fell in love with really early in life, and it's in chronological order of when I found myself listening to them," she says of the set's inspiration. "Some of the songs are pretty cringe-worthy now, but I thought it would be cool to be as accurate as possible, and try not to hide the fact that [Sisqo's] 'The Thong Song' may have had a profound effect on my musical sensibilities."

Give the nostalgic playlist a spin below and check out some throwback snaps of the star from her childhood/tween years.
