Selena Gomez may have hit two major New York Fashion Week events this past week—the Harper's Bazaar ICONS party, where she supported boyfriend and cover star The Weeknd, and the Business of Fashion #BofF500 gala (she was on their special magazine cover)—but she had yet to make any runway show appearances until today. The face of Coach attended the brand's spring runway show at Manhattan's Basketball City venue which was designed to look like a 1970s urban street scene except covered in a thick layer of silver glitter.

Behold: Selena Gomez's First Coach Campaign Has Arrived

After posing with Coach spokesmodel, actor James Franco, and finding her seat next to Conde Nast's Anna Wintour, Gomez took in the New York Dolls-scored runway show featuring grunge-influenced slipdresses for women, Lou Reed-inspired looks for the guys and Keith Haring graphics throughout. Nodding to the retro themes, the "Bad Liar" singer wore a distressed 1970s-style wide-collar brown leather jacket and flared, high-waist embellished jeans. She clearly embodied the A Tribe Called Quest "Electric Relaxation" lyric, also prominently featured in the show's program, "A pretty little something on the New York Street."
