Frank Ocean might sing about Nikes, but he wore Converse at FYF Fest this past weekend (July 22).

The glittery green and neon pink sneaks are from JW Anderson's collaborative collection that was announced during as part of the brand's Spring ’18 menswear show at Florence’s Pitti Uomo back in June. The avant garde fashion designer and the iconic sneaker label produced a unisex line that features Chuck Taylor All Star’s in a slew of colorways and patterns, different from anything Converse has ever produced.

“From my very first pair, Converse have represented such a radical movement in style and culture. The contrasts and similarities between the world of Converse and the world of JW Anderson creates a space of culture tension that’s a dream to play within as a designer," said designer Jonathan Anderson via press release.

Judging from the success of Anderson's previous collabs with Topshop and A$AP Rocky, the forthcoming capsule is sure to be a hit. The collection is set to launch late fall 2017/early 2018 and while there is no official word on what the shoes will sell for, we can guesstimate that pricing will fall somewhere between Anderson's White Canvas Trainers for $595 and Converse's classic $55 High Tops.
