Music’s biggest stars not only grace the same legendary stages; they also share the same taste in oceanside destinations -- which vary from far-flung places like the Amalfi Coast to domestic hot spots in Hawaii and Florida.

We (enviously) tracked down their go-to beach getaways and narrowed down the list to the top five most frequented places that our favorite musicians flock to during their time off -- so for your next sandy vacay, there’s a chance you might be rubbing elbows (evening out your tan, jet-skiing, 'Gramming up a storm) with music’s elite.

1. The Amalfi Coast

News alert: Katy Perry is, at this very moment, currently vacationing on the Amalfi Coast (book your flight now if you’re a die-hard KatyCat). But the “Swish Swish” singer hasn’t been the only star to fall under the spell of the Italian shoreline. JAY-Z and Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, and Vanessa Hudgens have all enjoyed the scenic Mediterranean views along the coastal stretch of bucolic villages (Positano is a popular one) and intimate beaches. A popular hotel among A-listers? Santa Caterina. Also worth mentioning are the islands of Capri and Ponza -- Mariah Carey spent a weekend sailing from shore to shore with her twins.

2. Cabo San Lucas

The beauty of traveling to Mexico: It counts as an international destination but without the distance (Cabo San Lucas is only a two-hour flight from Los Angeles). Oh, and the brilliant blue waters and soft sandy beaches, of course -- it’s no wonder so many celebrities choose Cabo for a quick and easy getaway. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, Iggy Azalea, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, and Justin Bieber, among countless others, have found this haven in Mexico to be just the place to unwind, de-stress and escape.

3. Hawaii

If Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s insanely enviable family trip to Hawaii last year isn’t enough to convince you that the 50th state is a must-visit, then we don’t know what will. Music’s famous power couple stayed in Kailua, a town on the east coast of Oahu. Fun fact: Bey and Jay’s vacation rental has accommodated a few other musicians, including Jessica Simpson and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. But it’s not just Oahu: Other islands in the Hawaiian archipelago have seen their fair share of star power, including Taylor Swift in Maui and Britney Spears in Kauai.

4. Miami

When a hotel that boasts a recording studio designed by Lenny Kravitz sits on the sands of South Beach in Miami, you know that’s bound to attract an onslaught of artists. The Setai is a luxury hotel that has seen its fair share of celebrities, including Beyoncé and JAY-Z, Bono, Chris Brown, Britney Spears and Madonna. But let’s not give all the credit to the five-star hotel: Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato and Shakira are among the pop stars who haven’t been able to resist the appeal of South Beach.

5. The Caribbean

It’s hard to pinpoint the most popular island in the Caribbean when there are so many great ones -- and all beloved by music’s best. Ludacris took his wife Eudoxie Mbouguiengue to St. Lucia, where they soaked in a mud bath. “The mud will wash off, but the memories will last a lifetime,” he captioned on Instagram. JAY-Z and Beyoncé have been spotted in St. Barts, Rihanna in Turks & Caicos, and Paul McCartney in Anguilla. In short, pick any island -- you can’t go wrong.

A few shout-out destinations: Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Madonna once vacationed there), St. Tropez in France (Rihanna and P. Diddy have both stayed there -- though not together), and the Seychelles Islands in East Africa (Ciara and Russell Wilson spent their honeymoon there).
