Per Madonna's own admission, the Met Gala this year was full of surprises. From avant-garde fashion statements to star-studded bathroom selfies, you can now add a video of Madonna twerking with fashion designer Jeremy Scott to the list of things you probably weren't expecting.

The pop icon shared the footage Wednesday (May 3) on Twitter and it looks straight out of a music video The two are freak dancing in a room with psychedelic visuals projected onto them. Overdubbed is Aubrn's "BOSS'D UP" featuring Gorilla Zoe

"I danced for 3 minutes to Deep House with Jeremy and ended up with 11 minutes of Gorilla Zoe," wrote Madonna with her post. "The Met Ball was full of Surprises!!"

For anyone wondering just why Madge and Scott look so darn good together in the video, it may be because Madge has Scott to thank for her outfit -- it was designed by Moschino, where Scott is creative director.
