Pharrell Williams and  Helen Lasichanh attend the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art Of The In-Between" Costume Institute Gala at Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 1, 2017 in New York City.

The couple honors Rei Kawakubo by rocking her designs on the red carpet.

Pharrell stepped out in head-to-toe Comme des Garcons at this year's Met Gala.

The singer paired a plaid shirt and black leather jacket with ripped jeans that read "Rei" below his left knee cap, while wife Helen Lasichanh rocked a bright red sculptural ensemble that designer Rei Kawakubo personally picked out for her.

This year's theme celebrates the museum's Costume Institute exhibition "Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between," which features approximately 150 womenswear designs that Kawakubo has created for Japanese brand Comme des Garcons since her first presentation at Paris Fashion Week in 1981.

The "Happy" singer has previously teamed up with Comme des Garcons on a fragrance range for men and women.
