Known to many for her time on MTV’s show Ridiculousness! and as a rapping secretary on Rob Dyrek’s Fantasy Factory, Chanel West Coast has fully shifted gears these last few years. After Lil Wayne signed the reality TV star to Young Money, she released two mixtapes -- 2013’s Now You Know and 2015’s Waves -- cementing herself as a rapper on the rise. And as 2017 unfolds, the now independent, multi-hyphenate artist is making moves.

Chanel is currently working on her debut studio album -- a promising project if it’s anything like her TMZ sneak peak performance and “Mask Off” remix -- and is slated to star in VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood coming out later this year.

For Coachella’s first weekend, the former Young Money MC brings us into her music festival universe with an exclusive photo diary. "This year was too lit and can't wait to do it all again next year," Chanel tells Billboard. "I've already got some outfits ready!" Get a glimpse into Chanel’s fun-filled weekend and party looks -- styled by Kanna Taniuchi and photographed by Kiyana Tehrani -- below.

“Coachella is a melting pot of cultures, vibes, style and of course music,” Chanel says. “I look forward to it every year.” On April 14, the rapper wore a Farm Rio top, Free People patchwork denim shorts, and Saint Laurent suede boots. She accessorized with Topshop glasses and an adorable pink woven Chanel flap bag.

“The stand out performers in my opinion were Lorde and Kendrick Lamar,” Chanel explains. “Kendrick's lighting and crazy visuals were super on point and his energy was amazing.” On April 15, the Young Money artist wore a sheer, floral Charles & Ron dress, a Hot As Hell lacey bodysuit, black Saint Laurent boots, and a Giovannio hat.

“This year had some of the best parties with Galore Magazine and Bumble’s Winter Bumbleland parties being the highlight,” she tells Billboard. On the last day (April 16), Chanel rocked a Mason Pixel swimsuit, a sheer H&M coverup, Saint Laurent boots and Dita sunglasses to the Galore x Stillhouse pool party.
