A kitschy, celeb-approved cashmere knit that's equal parts cozy and nostalgic

In the past few years, Coach has become a go-to brand for music artists and actors alike, thanks in no small part to creative director Stuart Vevers. Despite hailing from the U.K., the designer has a penchant for all things Americana, from western themes and prairie dresses to 50's Elvis-inspired looks. Lately, Vevers has looked to the 80's for inspiration, resulting in childhood latchkey ensembles that look like they came straight out of 1982's "E.T." (or, at the least, co-inspired by Netflix's "Stranger Things"). The brand's pre-fall collection includes items like patched varsity jackets, space-themed NASA bags, shearling coats and sweaters with depicting everything from space shuttles to ice cream sundaes (Selena Gomezthe face of the brand, was recently spotted wearing a dinosaur version). This shark-themed cashmere crewneck, $595, from Vever's spring collection, which Rita Ora recently wore with plaid pants, an oversized shearling coat and fuzzy beret while out in London, captures the same after-school-special vibes and is available for purchase now.
