Bruno Mars’ new music video (his first in four years) for "24K Magic," currently on pace to debut in the Top 10 of next week's Billboard Hot 100, is filled with '90s-style references. Among the velour track suits and the exposed bras are these six standout trends:

1. Versace graphic print silk blouse

A favorite of supermodels and hip-hop stars (Sean Combs, 2Pac) of the era, Bruno is also a longtime fan of the house, having worn custom Versace for his Super Bowl performance earlier this year.

2. Snapbacks

Popularized by Tupac and Ice Cube, among others, the snapback is omnipresent in the video, with Bruno’s featuring 24 in roman numerals.

3. Lightweight track suits

Thanks to Missy Elliot and Will Smith, lightweight zip-up windbreakers and similarly inspired looks, especially in bold colors and graphic blocking, were a must in the mid '90s.

4. Men’s denim for women

TLC gave us major inspiration when they performed in exaggerated men’s denim. Bruno’s gal pal does the same here.

5. Door Knocker Earrings

It was the statement jewelry of the '90s, thanks to Salt N Pepa, Neneh Cherry, MC Lyte and others.

6. Gold Chains

The bigger the better -- especially for stars like Run DMC and LL Cool J -- in the late '80s and early '90s.
