Japanese rock band toe joined forces with over 70 artists and groups to support small music venues around the country that have been forced to shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The four-man instrumental band has launched the MUSIC UNITES AGAINST COVID-19 website that enables fans to help out their preferred local music venue -- called "live house" in Japanese - - by donating money in exchange for access to a folder with music by the participating acts, including Ringo Sheena's Tokyo Jihen, Denki Groove's Takkyu Ishino, Scha Dara Parr and many more.

The 70 acts involved in this project all donated their music for free to support the cause. The good news for music lovers is that since these artists had to act quickly, the music in the folder contains a variety of rare tracks such as previously unreleased material, demos of new songs and live versions that can't be enjoyed elsewhere.

Fans can choose how much they want to donate, and the music folder is the same no matter which price they select, and will be made available for unlimited streaming until the end of June.

Participating artists include: Aco, ASPARAGUS, bacho, BACK DROP BOMB, BED, BRAHMAN, cero, Chara, clammbon, Crypt City, DATS, downy, ent, envy, GEZAN, heaven in her arms, HUSKING BEE, Julia Shortreed, kensuke ushio a.k.a agraph, KONCOS, LEARNERS+TUCKER, LITE, LITTLE CREATURES, LITTLE TEMPO, LOSTAGE, mabanua, malegoat, MONO & A.A.Williams, MONOEYES, mouse on the keys, Mullet, NONA REEVES, NUMBER GIRL, OOIOO, outside yoshino, Ropes, ROVO, Salyu with 内橋和久, sawagi, skillkills, SODA!, starRo, stim, THA BLUE HERB, the band apart, the HIATUS, toe, TOKYO No.1 SOUL SET feat.
